- 2 / 5By Lee Eric StrattonToday is a brisk Thursday afternoon in Palm Springs and here at the Starbucks I have observed three things: 1. It is slow ( there are three customers in here including myself) 2. There was a gentleman who needed to use the restroom and was refused access until he purchased his beverage (which he was well on the way to ordering). 3. Exclusivity during a time of year that is truly unbecoming and rather contrary. (Paying or not, Palm Springs or Port Au Prince, it matters little; It is sadly indecent to deny people access to the restroom when there clearly is no immediate reason to justify such denial.
