  C’est magnifique!!! A little slice of Paris tucked into a strip mall in Palm Springs. Who would have thought? We were in Palm Springs on vacation, looking for breakfast goodies, and stumbled on this gem. Walking in, we were greeted in the animated half-French-half-English of the proprietress, who could have been transported straight out of the 7th Arrondissement. With the first bite of a croissant, we were transported back to Paris ourselves. It had that oh-so-delicate crust that crumbled under your touch, revealing the lightest buttery clouds inside. The baguettes were similarly magical, with a crust that nearly explodes in a symphony under your fingers’ crush. I have travelled widely in Europe and live in a city renown for its artisan bakeries (Seattle), and these are the best breads and pastries I’ve had outside of France itself. Brava to this wonderful boulangerie!

  Wow! Having returned from Paris a month ago, we thought we would have to wait until our next trip to find 'authentic' French baking.
  
  But here it was in this lovely little bakery in Palm Springs!
  
  The pastries are wonderful, the bread fantastic, and the owner friendly and helpful!
  
  What a wonderful find!
